Death-
She came at me like a swalden Gun
I couldn’t escape her-
Had nowhere to Run

I foresaw her coming- so I didn’t haste
I glanced at my Life
‘Twas great
She came to me silently

I didn’t resist-
She touched my Body-
And gave it a kiss
The body fell outside this house- near the oak tree Stump

The tree that I grew with
It grew up with me
Each ring- ‘twas an obstacle
Once he fell down- his obstacles I could now see

I remember when it was a seed
His branches lifted me
He took me to the top- like Death
‘Twas Heavenly

I ‘m sitting on a cloud
Reminiscing about the past
Underneath My tree
Our souls may rest at Last
